Thomas Howard, 2nd Duke of Norfolk

Thomas Howard was stripped of his land and titles and remained in prison for 3 years. 3 years later, King Henry VII needed a good general to fight the Scots. Thomas, being a exceptional general, was released from prison to go fight. His title of Earl of Surrey was restored; however, his dukedom was not restored, and his land was not given back to him. Thomas was made lietenant of the north and managed to supress the English rebels. As he advanced against the Scotish King, he captured several castles along the border. The Scottish King refused to fight Thomas and disbanded his armies. As a part of the peace settlement, King Henry VII's daughter, Margaret, would marry King James of Scotland. Thomas escorted Margaret to Edinburg, and gave  her (the bride) away on behalf of King Henry VII. Thomas was one of the few Dukes who recieved an augmentation from the King. He recieved an augmentation of the Royal Shield of Scotland, the demi-lion; however, it was changed to a half of a demi-lion with an arrow through it's mouth.
